COVID Hits Korku tribe children
With COVID 19 pandemic, the household food crisis too is on rise . It has been impacting the health and well being of Korku tribe children in Madhya Pradesh in a worst manner. There is alraedy an alarming number of malnourished children among them. In this time of lock downs with reverse migration, no wage earning options locally and Anganwadis shut down, the food crises at homes is incraesing rapidly. Most vulnearble malnourished children and high risk pregnant mothers have felt the brunt. At this time they need protien rich and micronutrient laden food to overcome malnutrition or else their situation is bound to grow worser. We need to reach them in an emeregncy relief mode to provide food and nutrition for at least next 3 months.
