Leave toys for children in a public park.

Do you remember the joy of receiving a toy in your childhood? Relive that moment by leaving toys for children in a public park. Children find joy in the simplest of toys and find unimagined ways of turning them into multi-purpose objects. Just do this little act of kindness and experience the joy of sharing! With just 3 months to go for the big day of giving, #GivingTuesdayIndia on Oct 8, these little acts of generosity can help you and your loved ones come up with your celebration ideas for #GivingTuesdayIndia!
Happy Giving!

Buy tea/coffee or a snack for a co-worker.

Everyday is a great day to give but Tuesdays in the run up to #GivingTuesdayIndia are all the more special to show you care for those around you! Start a conversation over chai or coffee with a colleague. If you are at home due to rains or you work from home, just carry some coffee or tea for workers in the neighbourhood.

Relive your childhood today, spend an hour listening to a story from an elderly person!

Do you remember how your imagination soared when you listened to stories from your grandparents? The older your grandparent is, you will get to hear amazing facts about history and what life was like 90, 80, 70 years ago!

Start a conversation with an elderly person today. Listen with the same curiosity and rapt attention you had as a child. It is sure to be a Tuesday of happiness for both of you!

And, if you are the grandparent reading this post, someone out there is looking forward to speaking with you, today!

Compliment a police/ traffic officer or community worker.

Often we find ourselves complaining about the traffic and the pollution on our roads... we arm ourselves with scarves, masks and gloves to escape the heat, dust and smoke. Let's take out a few moments to compliment the brave-hearts who get baked in the heat and perform their duty while inhaling the most toxic fumes from our vehicles. A good word and a warm smile to the police/ traffic officer or the community worker, is the least we can do express kindness!
