Have a bucket bath...Save water

One of the simplest ways to save water is to switch to a bucket bath! The water in your shower sometimes travels long distance denying access to local people near the water source. Think of people who walk several miles everyday to fetch water. Every drop is precious.

Make a pot of tea for the night watchmen.

Before you go to bed after a hard days' work feeling grateful for all the good things that happened to you during the day, spare a thought for the people staying awake for your safety, in your apartment complex, on your street, away from their families. Some of them are doing a second shift to earn a bit more for a child's education or parent's healthcare.

Surprise them with some "garam chai" and chat about their families.

Leave toys for children in a public park.

Do you remember the joy of receiving a toy in your childhood? Relive that moment by leaving toys for children in a public park. With just 3 months to go for the big day of giving, #GivingTuesdayIndia on Oct 8, these little acts of generosity can help you and your loved ones come up with your celebration ideas for #GivingTuesdayIndia!

Buy tea/coffee or a snack for a co-worker.

Everyday is a great day to give but Tuesdays in the run up to #GivingTuesdayIndia are all the more special to show you care for those around you! Start a conversation over chai or coffee with a colleague. If you are at home due to rains or you work from home, just carry some coffee or tea for workers in the neighbourhood.
