Stop child labour this Daan-Utsav

Let’s come together to give them a happy childhood this Anti-Child Labour Day! Childhoods are for learning and not earning. But today, there are over 33 million child laborers, between 6 to 18 years of age, in India. Children who should be going to school instead of work. Shocking number, isn’t it? YOU can help build a better future for these children by helping us ensure that they stay in school - where they have a chance to hone their true potential and pave the way to their dreams! On 12th June, as the world celebrates Anti Child Labor day, your contribution can enable 1750 Children to learn and not earn.   Success story 1 Naveen a former child labourer and one of our kids from CRY project in Andhra Pradesh, has recently been selected for Sakura Science Plan- an exchange program in japan for budding scientists!  “This would have been just a distant dream, if CRY hadn’t helped me enroll in school after i had to drop out in 5th grade” Naveen says.   Success story 2   Zeeshan one of our CRY kids, who in 2009 couldn’t attend school regularly because of his family issues and now in 2019 he’s interning with a financial firm.    Winning the #10YearChallenge Success story 3  Sometimes the biggest superheroes are the little ones! Druv Prashant- a 10 year old who took it upon himself to raise funds for underprivileged children by trekking all the way to Poon Hill in Nepal. ” I am a proud champion for children’s rights! ” he say.  #childrenforchildren
